FN@UW Spring Contest Powwow
No dance contest results yet. Didn't copy them down, waiting for email (someone else feel free to chime in).
Drum contest: 1. Blacklodge 2. Rocking Horse 3. Kicking Woman One Man Hand Drum Contest: 2007 Champion: Frank "Sonny" Eaglespeaker No other Specials results, anyone else got 'em? I took almost 250 pics of this powwow and they are now posted at my own li'l powwow website: http://www.powwowtime.com/photos/powwows/2007/WA/fnuw/ COMMENTARY Powwow was pretty good. Turnout seemed bigger than the last couple of years. Ran into a couple fellow PW.com'ers though, nice to finally meet you dudes. Things went pretty smoothly, lots of whistles on drums it seems, and the hand drum contest dragged on a bit due to the finals / semi-finals / semi-semi-finals type format but what the hey we were done before 8pm so not too bad I guess. Will I go next year? Well I go every year so why not.
