I think u were just about 1/2 way there or somethin'......
Men's Fancy Lydall Yazzie didn't even contest. He went Wildhorse and got 2nd. He called over to Arlee Sunday and he found out that the Adults hadn't even contested yet so he drove all the way to Arlee and the committee wouldn't let him register......not that it would have mattered since the committee picked their own winners anyway (from what I hear). Another annoying thing.......Stan & Clint tied for 1st but instead of breaking the tie the committee gave them both 1st place. Stan deserved it Clint didn't. Clint missed 4 stops in the finals and played out after the first 2 of 4 songs.

ummm..noooo.....i judged the final round on tuesday and i didnt know anybody's name. the only way i can remember them is by who was wearing what... like the guy in the orange and blue had his bustle fall off and he walked off... there was a guy in black and turquoise and he walked off...but no really i didnt know anybody's name in the fancy dancers or the grass dancers...

thats was really cool thing i will say happened at arlee this year....theres a bunch of dancers who excused themselves for whatever reason....i think thats totally a stand up thing to do and too few people ever do it....

I said I was half awake...but I did remember that Lydell was there at first, I didn't realize he had left. And yeah, they did have a tie for 1st in Men's Fancy. Maybe the full list of winners will be in this week's Char-Koosta (charkoosta.com) so check it out.

*LOL* Lydall was only there towards the end of the powwow. Going there to meet up with adopted family. He danced for fun! Gee, ppl always have to assume. *L* If you really want to know the story don't make it up... go up to the person and ask if its really eating you up inside to know.
