Onieda powwow

I took a friend to her first powwow this past weekend. Never saw a tighter run powwow. When the arena director called for dancers, they'd best be ready. Had a wonderful time. Drums were great, ate lots, bought $200 of CDs (damn!), had a good time and created a new powwow hound (she's going to two more powwows in the next two weeks). My daughter (13) came Saturday and danced liked crazy and ate frybread so she's happy too.

So many good people. So much good music. So much good food. Oh well. If it didn't end sometime I suppose it wouldn't be special.

undefinedgood morning....so who was all at oneida powwow? who won?? is there a winner's list in the making? i'd like to see it. oh yeah......WAS IT HOT??
