it didn't end at 6 p.m. it ended at 5 p.m. which if they knew this was the case, they should have lowered the admission fee. who did they think they were, gon??? if i had known it was going to end so soon, i would have gotten there earlier so i could watch the aztec dancers and the hoop dancer.


the frybread was way too greasy, too. everyone knows you don't wrap it in aluminum foil, you wrap it in paper towels so that it soaks up the grease!

am i right???

anyway, despite all these shortcomings, it was much better than the yawn fest that is the first mohican pow wow.

Frybread should be drained then wrapped in paper towles to soak up the grease. As we know the higher quality the fry oil is the less greasy the frybread is too. You must have gotten some some frybread that was cooked in cheap or bad oil compounded by "no drain" foil. Sorry to hear that.

Any hoo. How was Black Lodge. Were they their usual full of themselfs fun drum playing great music and clowning around to give everyone a great time?

When I lived out west, we use to dance to them all of the time. Those guys are great. Love em all.

While you were at Cleveland, we were at Indianapolis having a blast. I don't care to dance at competition powwows. I never liked hanging a number on my dance outfits.

unfortunately, I got there later in the afternoon. I really only caught the tail end of the aztec dancers, which was what I really, really, really wanted to see. there were a couple of intertribals, but I don't think they did them. my apologies for my lack of information.
