2006 Red Earth

It's Saturday afternoon here in OKC! We've had over 3,000 people tune into the Live webcast. Be sure to tune in during the rest of the weekend:

http://video.powwows.com

The dancing has been great! They had a beautiful mother and daughter contest--even had one team that was grandmother, daughter and granddaughter!!

People are watching from Iraq, Turkey, Holland and all across North America. We had a mother and daughter meet up on the webcast, one in Canada and one in North Carolina.

I've uploaded the first set of photos! Check them out in the Galleries:

They are dancing the adult categories now and then are going to be breaking any ties.

And the last competition will be the PowWows.com Special Contest!

I've uploaded another 100ish photos to the Galleries.

Hi Paul!
I just watched the video. Really nice. I have a question, my husband and I wanted to know who the guys were that walk around in plain clothes holding long sticks on the dance floor while the tribes are dancing. Our guess was they were illiminators. Is this right? Thanks.
