Maybe someone from the committee will post the results.......I do know the singing results

1st Place Bear Creek
2nd Place The Boyz
3rd Place Red Bull

I heard there was some confusion for some of the dance contest results. In Men's Grass there was two ties and two of them didn't place. In Mens Tradish Merle Eagle Speaker danced off with Jason??? from Oregon and neither of them placed. And in teen boys tradish the same ting happened Jalen Abeyta and ???Abrahamson danced off and neither of them paced!! CRAZY!!!

Brian Washtehay sp?? from Saskatchewan won the Chicken dance special and the Men's Tradish

Men's Fancy
1st place George Abeyta
2nd Place Lydall Yazzie
3rd place Louie Plant
4th Place Alden Spoon Hunter

Women's Jingle
1st Place ?? Martin
????

Women's Tradish
1st place Lacy Abrahamson
2nd Place Summer Baldwin
?????

Women's Tradish went more like this:1st place: Lacy Abrahamson (she missed grand entry and spot check, so I don't know how she got in there-still she looked really really really pretty in her mommas dress)
2nd place: Holly EagleSpeaker - love the way she works her fan
3rd place: Shannon Whiteman (dance off with Tisa Pinkham - both kicked it, but Shannon did a fancy stop and was there without Stan or he was hiding or didn't dance...hmmmm I didn't see him and I was looking)
4th place: Sekwun Ahenakew (dance off with Holly, but Holly got 2nd?)

There were some crazy ties and the weather was HOT then COLD then DUSTY.

The chiggen dance went on forever and men's tradish was messed up. They danced a million songs and ended up with ties still.

women's tradish Holly danced off with Sekwun - that was a tough call and Holly gets second while Sekwun gets 4th????

Shannon danced off with Tisa - another tough match. I do have to say that normally I would have picked Tisa, but this time Shannon worked that fringe! purty southern style and cool round dance. Crazy run off though. I still can't figure out how they scored the whole thing.

Looks like the tabulater was awarding points for dance-offs.

Stan went to Poplar and got 3rd behind Walter Runs Above and Waylon LittleTent. Stan Jr.was at Elmo but didn't place in Men's Fancy.

Overall this was a really goot celebration even tho' there was confusion in in the dance contest......I think the good singing madeup 4 it. I like how every dance contest was run with contest drums Bear Creek, The Boyz and Red Bull ROCKED THE HOUSE!!!

I was told Tisa asked about the confusion at the end of the powwow. They tried to play her like she was dumb. Then she spoke to Diane David. They went and looked at the points. Come to find, Tisa should have taken 3rd place, according to her points. But she wasn't even announced as a winner. Finally, she was give compensation for the sham. Also, I heard four other dancers were compensate for some mistake in the books.

Does anyone know how the teens done? i went to tha powwow but didnt stay to hear on how the winners did man that sucks that JayJay and Clint didnt place damn that really bums me out

Yeah dem Boyz jammed out!! Men's fancy was tuff tho'!! Anyone of dem guyz could have won it!!

You're not say'n Clint & JJ did better than dem boyz that placed r u?? They did goot.....but I wouldn't go that far. Sometimes there's juss not enuff places.
