New Miss Oglala Lakota Nation 2008-2009 Bookmark and Share

Congratulations to Ms. Daisa One Feather, daughter of Delmar and Linda One Feather, of Oglala, South Dakota, the newly crowned Miss Oglala Lakota Nation 2008-2009.

Ms One Feather is a champion teen girls traditional dancer, and past title holder, following in the footsteps of her sister, Delmarina One Feather, a former Miss Denver March Powwow.

The Oglala Lakota people are, as always, looking forward to yet again, a respectful and beautiful representative.

Thank you for a great job in 2007-2008, to the out going Miss Oglala Lakota Nation, Lisa Marie Bear Robe. She was outstanding in her reign, and will be remembered as one of most admired and respected young women of our tribe. She is planning on attending college in North Dakota in the fall, and we wish her the very best of luck, and look forward to hearing more of her and her accomplishments.
