I went last year and had a blast! This dance is well worth the trip and the casino ain't too bad either
 Not gonna make it this year, but definitely next year.

I'm going to this and that tama pw just before that. I wanted to get some stuff together and start dancing again before then, but it looks like that's not going to happen. I don't have any time for anything anymore. But it will be nice to get out of the heat for a couple of weeks.

Drum Contest
I know somebody will post the dance winners, so heres the drum results... Drum contest was 3rd: Battle River 2nd: Thunder Hill CHAMPS: BLACKSTONE Contest Drums Present: Midnite Express Buffalo Lake Battle River Eyabay Thunderhill The Boyz Black Bear Creek Black Stone New Agency Every Drum was Jammin all weekend There were alot of non-contest drums but I cant remember their names.

They started announcing winners by 6:30pm!!!! That was REALLY early for PI powwow! Lol. Great powwow, really nice weather. Shaky start with the big line at registration, then announcing that grand entry was at 7:30 but beginning it at 7:20, but it all ended up being run very smooth. I don't ever recall seeing Blackstone at PI before...they sounded great all weekend and it was good to see them there. |
