I don't know who all won because we had to bail out pretty early to catch our flight, but my in laws called us to let us know that our beautiful daughter Shenoah Bowen won 5th in junior girls traditional.....yay.
I usually don't post up all my kids placings, but dang, this was Denver March, and we don't travel past the cattle guards much.

There were 38 drums total.
Here are some that I thought jammed: Cozad, Zotigh, Pawnee Spotted Horse, Thunderhill, Three Deep, Black Bear Creek, Eagle Mountain, North Bear, New Agency, High Eagle, Medicine Tail, Ironwood.

I had to leave to catch my flight early as well.
It was great to see fellow powwows.comers there (LISA IRON MAKER, Buckskin Pantyhose, Tall Injun, Bushy Braids and furiously fancy)! Who says Powwows.com is for "wannabes?" All the people above are hard core powwow people!

That Prairie Chicken Special was pretty dang cool.
I saw that Marty Thurman and Rooster Topsky were two of the finalists, but who was the fella with the round bustles? That guy was jammin, all I caught was that he was from Oklahoma.
