Well I am on the Powwow Planning Committee, I was the Arena Director, my son was the Head Man Dancer and my drum (Fox Tail) came out at this Powwow so I am going to give you my very biased view.... IT WAS GREAT!!! The ceiling is very low so flags even standing in stands were too tall so we had four staffs up around the MC. There were quite a few dancers. Red Earth did a fine job hosting and Stoney Creek rocked the house. All dance contests were competing for free registration at our big powwow in April. The specialty dances were individually sponsored dances. I even competed in the One Man Hand Drum contest which was won by
Patrick Richardson (Red Earth). In Social dancing, our canoe dance is a beautiful dance and a sight to see. It was a good way to break up the winter, get the folks out to dance and visit.

Overall the committee did a good job. Marty was an excellent Emcee. He kept things rolling. I am already looking forward to next years' event.
