walmart, I think Michael Roberts got first. In southern cloth: 1st Janet Bullcoming 2nd was our own sltate! congrats! Men's Grass: 1st Matthew Pheasant Men's Straight: 1st Angelo Normand Men's Golden Age: 1st Royce Kingbird Women's Golden Age: 1st Charlene Cozad Other drums were: Eagle Flight, Niwiwan, Ptown Boyz, Badwater and Rez Boyz. I was hoping Niwiwan and Eagle Flight would place somewheres.... This year they had $500 specials in the two step, team dance and switch dance. Maheegan Schwanda (sp) was absolutely hilarious and deserved to win the men's switch dance!

Lil, He sang and danced. He really does have an awesome lead and was the reason his drum placed high. One year, he sang at this powwow with the Haystack singers. Warren Wahpepah was head singing judge this year. Marty Pinnecoose was the head dance judge and arena director.

Yes. Warren graced us with his presence while he was inbetween jobs as a body guard for Janet Jackson, when Ms. Jackson (if yo' nasty) was visiting Loretta Lynn's ranch southwest of Nashville. *L
