The only true "beat the heat" powwow was the Camp Verde powwow which was held outdoors in the 105 plus degree heat a week after the July 4th time frame. This was totally insane to have an outdoor powwow in July, but people came out for it.
I suppose an indoor powwow would still be stuffy and hot unless the building has an extreme air conditioning unit. |

This p-dub was correctly named ''Beat the heat". Heck, it was 116 degrees that day. How was the gathering? I didn't even attempt to attend. Didn't want to stink up one of the Lord's house of worship. Then again, I wouldn't be the only one stinking. hahaha Was it contest?

glad to hear everything was cool (no pun intended). I had auto a/c issues that day. I didn't get home until 5:45p, I really wanted to be there for grand entry. I was so tired and irritated from my day at the garage, I just stayed home. too bad... I needed that pow wow fix too. wassup next in these parts?
