SOUTHERN CATEGORIES
Adults (18-49)
Men's Straight: $1,100, $800.00, $500.00, $300.00
Men's Fancy: $1,100, $800.00, $500.00, $300.00
Women's Buckskin/Cloth Combined: $1,100, $800.00, $500.00, $300.00

Thanks for the info. Also, theres usually a softball tourney too, do you know anything about that?

Alright!!!! Good news for my honey (S. Fancy). I hope we can make it, have to see how things go with the new baby.

Alright...we were just talking about that in Hinckley...the Cozads said they were going that way. Good. I'll let them know.

Oh my gosh! I used to play in that tourney EVERY year until I got on the pow-wow committee...........I do miss it

You can call the Tribal Operations Switchboard and ask for the Parks and Recreation Department: (989) 775-4000. The guy who usually runs it is hard to get ahold of but his name is Chip Neyome. You can ask for him too but like I said....busy guy, hard to get in touch with.
I will look into it but there's usually also a Golf Tournament held the same weekend also sponsored by the tribe. I will try to get some info. and phone numbers for that as well.
LOTS of stuff to do during this weekend...POW-WOW, Softball, and Golf!! Lots of fun!!

9th Annual Slow Pitch Softball Tournament
August 4th & 5th
IM Fields on CMU Campus
Maximum 4 Men's Teams, 4 Women's Teams, & 8 Co-Ed Teams

Friday: Co-Ed starts at 5:30 p.m.
Saturday: Men & Women 3:00 p.m.

PRIZES
Men's & Women's: 1) 750.00 2) 500.00 3) 250.00
Co-Ed: 1) 1,200.00 2) 750.00 3) 250.00

ENTRY FEE: 275.00 per team
ENTRY DEADLINE: July 27th

-6 NATIVE players must be on the field at all times.
-Players without tribal identification will be considered NON-NATIVE.
