Sedalia MO in July

I would like to invite all to come and have a good time in Sedalia MO July 14-16, 2006. We don't contest but we do dance and enjoy ourselves with a very relaxed dance. This dance is inside with lots of A.C.. Avery good time to meet and visit with new and old friends.

Our Head staff this year are:
Head singer- Alex Esau- Omaha
Headman - Tony Flores Jr- Luiseno/Osage
Headlady- Diana Wendling- Lipan Apache
AD- Roger Crane- Quapaw(O-Gah-Pah)
MC- Bob Woolery- Cherokee/Osage

Committee pays for the camping on the MO State Fair Grounds, full hookups available again this year. We will serve the Sat evening meal. Seating available BUT bring your own comfortable chair if desired.

Who plans on coming?

You have the rest of the details? Is it all southern or is there a northern drum too?

My family has been going up there for 8 years. It's a good family powwow. The Woolery family does things right. The drum is Southern. Here's the schedule.....

July 14th..... Dance at 7:00
July 15th..... Gourd dance at 1:00
Intertribal at 3:00-5:00
Supper Break
Grand Entry at 7:00
July 16th..... Dance at 1:00

We camp, but there are motels nearby. The powwow is indoors, lots of vendors and the best Indian dogs and fry bread!!! If you need any other information, call or email Bob at (660)826-5608, dwoolery@aol.com.

Thank you Lipan Lady. It will be very good to get to visit with you and your family again in person. Hope your Mama will be able to come agian this year. Right now gas is $2.57/gal. Deisel is $2.75/gal.

Well gas just went to $2.739. I pray it goes back down again. I hope and pray it doesn't hurt the Quapaw dance this year.
