Winners in Bay Mills?
So who won in Bay Mills? What drums were there?
I would rather not hear about the drama with the drum contest and anything else..please!

Just got home from the pow-wow. There's a couple of blanks but maybe somebody can help me out. OH YEAH, forgive my spelling...lol
Golden Age Women: 1) Iris Cleveland 2) Debbie Kline 3) ????????? don't know Golden Age Men: 1) Gerald Cleveland 2) Royce Kingbird 3) Harvey Thunderchild Women's Traditional: 1) Rebecca Smith 2) Melissa Montoya 3) Debbie Plain Men's Traditional 1) Dana Warrington 2) Adrian Kline 3) Maheengun Shawanda ***Dance off for 3rd with Day Day???...lol*** Jingle: 1) Karen Pheasant 2) Marueen ? (dont know last name) 3) Maia Montoya ***Dance off for 2nd between Maureen and Maia**** Grass: 1) Ronnie Preston 2) Matthew Pheasant 3) ????????? don't know his name Women's Fancy: 1) Rose Track 2) Crystal Cleveland 3) Lisa Odjig Men's Fancy: 1) Darrell Hill 2) Wayne Silas 3) Wesley Cleland Drum Contest: 1) Young Guns 2) Smokey Town 3) RedStone Ojibwe I didnt hear how the drum contest went after that. I know Tha Tribe got in there somewhere.....And yes, lots of drama with the drum contest!!! They also had a Two Step & Switch Dance Special but it was way to cold to stick around and check it out. Congratulations to all the winners!!! If I screwed any of this up....somebody help me out! |

there were 6 or 7 places in the drum contest, 7 though, I think.
