Whose idea was it to have a "Ride Sharing" forum? It has a whopping 4 posts (2 of which are mine, but it wasn't my idea). How many responses has this one thread gotten about smoke dancing? Whadaya'll think?

are there any other pow wows with smoke dance in them? what about out west? the only ones that i know about are salamanca, niagara falls, akwesasne, grand river, gathering, schemitzun n mohegan. I hear smoke dance is spreading around, but just how far has it gotten?

I know there was a Smoke Dance at Saskatoon PWW. It was exhibition, but it was still up there. I should have broke it out while I was in Hawaii!! *L* But I didn't want to provoke jealousy.

this is the best point that i have read.... look at a post in the chicken dance forum. there was a good post in there about how chicken dancing is pan indian now and how people are not properly taught and how prize money is distorting the tradition in it... things to think about...

What I said was that you need to start some thread about Smoke Dancing. I wanted to see if there were enough people to hold discussions on the subject.

Sge:noh swagwe:goh ! i say yeah for the smoke dance rig!..LOL... i found this old video i don't know how many of you have seen it before but it's called " The Longhouse People " it's about 23 minutes long!..with a good clip of the "Old Style Slow War Dance" it also has a few other social/ceremonial dances on there!
