Tru, Stillrezin's list IS the winners of that contest. One "strange" thing took place.... On Saturday, the emcee announced that there were some "doubters" and "haters" who were spreading rumors that there was no contest money. . . So he asked all the lead singers of the competing drums to come into the arena. They put out a table and counted the money in front of everyone and put it into envelopes and had security escort the money out. "It took over 30 minutes." I wonder what the audience thought? The lead singers I talked to "didn't like it." I guess powwows are now - all about..... Money? Anyways, Congratulations to the singing groups that won! You all did a great job!
