.....counting the moolah was a bit too much. 10 minutes wouldn't been bad, 15 minutes would be stretching it, but approx 30 minutes of "...one hundred, two hundred, three hundred.....,five, ten, fifteen, twenty, thirty,forty, how much was that....?" A lilo too much...!

Otherwise, good job, Brady family. You done us good!

Maybe the Committee should have done this somewhere else instead of in the Arena. You know how people get upset if they keep dragging out a pow wow when they want to get on the road. And you are right, some people do like to show off.

no disrespect to the Brady family, but i felt that the money should have been counted somewhere else besides the arena or when the winners were announced, they should have counted out the money in front of them, most of the people i talked to didnt like this either. If you have the money, why listen to the *haters* and *doubters*, didnt have to prove anything to anyone, but thats my 2 cents.

I hear the Hamilton/Brady family is good friends with the pow wow committee so I guess they could do pretty much what they wanted to do. I agree with some of the comments that counting the money in front of everyone is kinda like showing off. Oh, and I wonder how those Southern Drums felt about not even placing. Do you think there might be payback later on the powwow trail? (I'm always thinking of weird things like this.) Some people like to play the payback game. I wonder who the judges were? I wonder ............ ? LOL

I didn't like the counting the money thing. But only cuz it took too much time.

They said they were doing it because of rumors, but they could have counted it with the lead singers watching, then announce that it was done.

I didn't care too much for the counting of $$ cuz if you have the $$ then why worry about the rumors...then they made it sound like it was the singers who were worried about it anywayz so why not take em to where ever n count it in front of them? It was a total waste of time...and personally I thought there would've been alot of top drum groups there..but I was kinda disappointed, at the turn out...

ok here is my opinion. i didnt like the way the counted the money in front of everyone and the time it took. But I repect the way Cheyenne Brady's family and her uncle's the Youngbird singers supported her. i think the rumors that there was no money was the reason why the turn out with the drum groups was low. Ands thats why they wanted to show all the doubters and haters that they did have the money. Cheyenne deserved her moment in the spotlight and the family showed thier support for her.
sad to say but money is what pow-wow's are coming to. the drums want to go where the money is.
this is my opinion and if i'm wrong let me know.
