Nah, thats not the case. There have been plenty of canadiens that have danced here before. I just got the flyer the other day so I thought I would post it.

I'm glad they brought back the pow wow on this weekend instead of that ill-fated street fair thing they tried for a few years. Congrats to Awohali for being chosen Host Northern!! I know you guys will do an outstanding job

To anyone interested, these pow wows in Cherokee are usually fun, and from what I've seen the judging is fair.

Yea we had a blast year at the 4th of July powwow. I'm sure this year it will be superb. Good job wit Thunder Hill. Bet they'll be rockin. We are going to attempt to show up for the drum comp.

Southern Host Drum, but no separate southern dance categories? Dance categories are combined...traditional/straight? traditional(buckskin/cloth) or are they separate?

Yes, those categories are combined for the Memorial Day pow wow, but I believe they are separate for the larger July 4th dance.
