Didn't stay around long enough to get the list of winners but the drum groups that attended were as follows:

Little Island Cree
Sun Bear
Midnight Express
Cozad
Horse Chief
Eagle Whistle Jr's
Eagle River
Southern Tunes
Southern Slam
Red Hoop
Eagle Rib

I think I might have forgotten a couple groups but thats all I could remember... I sat in with Midnight this weekend. I was a nice layed back pow wow as always.

but EAGLE RIB???

WhoMe, Eagle Rib is an actual drum we heard in Page, AZ as the host drum back in January.....they're originally from Canada, but from what I was told they now live in Salt Lake City or somewhere in Utah.......7 Ribs?? LOL!!!!....I bet if t was a navajo drum it would be called mutton ribs!!!!....LOL!!!

WhoMe, I kid you not "Eagle Rib" is an actual drum group. As my bro Fiddy said they're originally from Alberta but now reside somewhere in Utah.

Nope, no drum contest but the drums got day pay for each session.

Nah, we're not going to make Ft. Lewis. We're hosting @ Westwood H.S.(Mesa) that same weekend. Ft. Lewis... thats the one ya'll are hosting aye? Well, tell the R.P. bros to rock the heck outta Durango aight!

LOL! Now that we settled the eagle rib situation....

Who won? This casino is great, they have a beach there too! Was it cold? it can get pretty cold in the desert, but hot in the day.

So what powwow is this weekend?
