Its been awhile since I've been to Chinle, (4 yrs or so). Can anyone give me info on lodging in Chinle? Thinking of heading that way for the following powwow, not this w/e but the next w/e. Thanks

Best Western (928) 674-5288/5875/5876 (I think host hotel)
Holiday Inn (928) 674-5000
Thunderbird Lodge (yup, they are still open) (928) 674-5841/5842/5844

They are all clean. Thunderbird is the oldest. Best Western is the closest.

The "older" stone buildings at Thunderbird are more sound-proof. You can make as much noise inside and not disturb any one else.

We got that HUGE, DELUXE, place at the center of the compound....like eight beds and there was only three of us.

Two guys and one woman.

We were yelling, moaning and groaning ........we made ALL Sorts of noises that night!

...........we sat up playing with my friends Xbox, some sort of fightem up, beat the hell outta yer opponent game. Halo? I forget. The woman was damned good!! We sucked big time!!

On another note. I thought Twin Trails was Host Gourd Drum? I heard Southern Medicine was asking for too much dinero. Anyone confirm or deny that?
