Boozhoo niji,
Just got back home from this pow wow, and for me it was more fun than Hollywood. I got to say a big thankyou to Alex and all the guys of Medicine Tail for comming in and helping support my drum, Mishomis Animikii, (Dave Trezak made me go english and call it Grandfather Thunder), also a big Miigwech to Greg Big Canoe and his family for their fine voices, I couldnt have brought it up without you guys. The singing was awesome from all 5 drums, the other three being Redbird Jrs, Ehya (sp?) and the Plainsmen. There was a lot of dancers there, around 80 registered, and there were plenty of songs out there to dance to. There was only one thing I was disapointed about, and that was there was only one food vendor, so there was a long line there to get food. Derek |
