One of these days, you should bring the boyz up north and jam with them rez drums. The 60th Ann. Navajo Nation Fair Powwow looks like it's going to be a good one! Think about it bro!

In the meantime, enjoy yourself "at the place where water appears" (Wa:k) and I'll be jamming at "the place where water flows out" (Chinle).

Yeah, I hear ya bro... We've been wanting to check out N.N.F. but its always the same time as Sycuan. Maybe this year we'll head east instead of west in Sept.

We all had a nice warm cozy place to rock all day Saturday at Chinle! A very good turn out for the one-day 9th annual event for the youth.

Drums that showed up and jammed: Cozad, Callin' Eagle, Stone Creek, Singing Eagle, Native Boyz, Southern Company, Four Nations, and Thunderhouse. There was no singing contest, but there was day money for the drums that were in attendance.

Jay's daughter gave a awesome performance with her own unique style of singing. I never thought of it before, but I ended up buying a copy of her CD. So, listen for her stunning voice at the next powwow!

Had lots of fun..........jammed out with Cozad and Callin' Eagle. Great singing and good dancin'. Enjoyed the snowstorm, but the turnout was pretty good. Good performance by Jay's daughter. At the end, everyone enjoyed the round dance. Did plenty of exercising. Overall, the Youth Fest powwow was a success, and didn't have to worry about readmissions. Outstanding committee put up a good show. Way to go ! ! ! ! Continue on in supporting the youth. Only good activities as this would help keep our youth away from drugs and alcohol and to promote healthy living.

The Cozads set up Friday nite @ Apache Gold, and kewl they rocked Chinle. This powwow sounded really laid-back and warm! lol

Hey AEn8ive_kita, the powwow was actually kewl and stayed in a warm place kickin' back with relatives and friendz. Quite and everything went smooth..............
