Ok here's anutha pow wow story for u all...

I just graduated from high skewl and one of the first things that i wanted to do was pow wow! man o man i wanted to pow wow...me and my road dawgz. the week i graduated was the week i was given a car for my graudation present. i was one happy indian, not because i graduated but becuz i was on my own and i wanted to get to the next pow wow fast. i guess u can say that i was more excited than an starvin ndn who gets close to the front lines of a chow line. anywayz...my friendz and i went out east, it was the first time i went to tennessee to a pow wow, a fren of ours talked us into going that way, telling us more white people, better pay..yeah rite! lol anywayz, we were pow wowin and that weekend i saw this beautiful ndn girl who i wanted to snag. but just neva got up the courage to talk to her so i went on pow wowin like a normal ndn does. without thinking about it, we were singing and we had a fancy dance song. and in the arena they had like a pit in the middle and i hot and sweating and singing watching the fancy shawl dance their little hearts out until one of em disappeared. i didnt notice until the song was over and one of my frens was like, "hey where that one fancyshawl dancer go???" well, they carried her out. the pow wow went on...meanwhile, i was strollin around killing time b4 we had to sing so i ran into this girl i liked. somehow we started to talk and kept on talking throughout the night. her friends had a teepee up and we sat by the fire and ate marshmallows...it was awesome and i was telling about the trip and all that and i started to talk about the fancy dancer and laughed. She didnt say anything, "you think thats funny?" i said "well i dunno...looked funny." make a long story short...as we were leaving i walked her to her truck and we said out goodbyes. she kissed me and she said "by the way...that fancy dancer was me." she got in her truck and drove away. talk about feeling like a horses azz lol...who knows what could have happened...sometimes u lose out on the best of things by saying and doing toopid things hehe. have fun my natives...

LOL....it sounds like she was a bit uptight. If you can't laugh at yourself when you do stupid stuff then what's the point of leaving the house!

That was a good story but being a woman myself who shared a few late nite talks myself have just one thought on my mind- If she was too angry she would not have kissed you, just my thought.

i dont really think she was that angry myself she was a person just probably reserved. we had each others number and we talked a few times just that her being from salt lake and me from south dakota. we neva thought we would cross paths again. happens. my thoughts. sometimes the long distance thing doesnt werk. most people know it especially if your pursuing two different lives at the time.
