Brandon Powwow admission prices

I just called Sioux Valley and they had a meeting regarding admission yesterday and this is the prices set for Brandon winterfest Jan. 27 - 29/06. Very steep if you ask me and i asked if there was weekend passes and they said "NO, WEEKEND PASSES THIS YEAR"

ADULT - $15.00/DAY

SENIORS & YOUTH (13 - 17) - $10.00/DAY

CHILDREN (7-12) - 5.00/DAY

CHILDREN (6 AND UNDER) - FREE

holay shyt - is that true?!? turnin into gatherings there all i can say is good luck with that. dang that's gonna be like $90 for me and my sig other and $30 for my two older kids ... sure there are alot of things happenin at the same time. but what if you don't even go look at the other events? rip off!!

dang their prize payout is kinda cheap too isn't it? adults is like $600 for first, teens $200 and juniors $100. shyt going to go look/spectate - might not have a big crowd with admission prices like that - pw ppl aren't that rich .. lol. goin to brandon and gathering - BIG DIFFERENCE

I think the price is steep myself. I have a family of five.My husband is the only one who works.There is no way I would pay that price to get into anything.That would be my grocery bill for a week.

To Me The Admission Is Crazy!!!. True There Is Alot Of Events But Man 15 A Day...and Everything Is So Expensive In There..bottle Pop Is Like 2.50$...i Know This One Family Went Up There And Spent Over 600 Dallors And That Was Only For Their Roomz, Food And Gas!!!..they Have Kids 2 And Everything. I'm Not Going To This, To Pricey If U Ask Me And I Thought Gatherings Was Bad..lol..seems That This Event Is Getting More Expensive Every Year...ohhh Well...to All Tha Pplz Out There That Are Going..enjoy Yourselves...

Holy man, that is expensive. Especially if you're there to compete in the pow wow. Doesn't leave much time to check out other things. I am going to reconsider going now.

-that is high. I think it's wrong when a powwow committee passes on the costs of putting on their event to the public, because they were too lazy to fund-raise.

This pow-wow is definately not all that.Pow-wow's are about having fun and family and carrying on tradition.fifteen bucks a day sounds like a tourist attraction........supply and demand right? sounds crazy........never find me up in ole brandon manitoba.......zippppppssssssssssss
