About a month ago I was singing with Rick Bird and his son .
I was really getting into this good part when my upper denture fell out my mouth, hit the drum head and bounded off about 4 feet...We couldn't finish the song cause they wouldn't stop laughing.
I was grateful for the small crowd of onlookers though.

... geez, im probably giving my identity away, but here goes...

... I was at this one pow wow where we had to sing a victory song and Lloyd Top Sky started a victory song... but only after about close to 15 seconds of drum beats starting because no one else would start anything (****ers!), he BELTED OUT "Yabba yabba Do, yabba yabba do!!".... and those who jumped in for the song just imitated his melody, and not the words... oh man it was classic... and to boot it went on for like 4 push ups... I think in that 4 push ups a new straight song was made...... LOL....... anyway.... Cheers ya'll.........
.
.
PS. I saw one of my bros. vomit/ hung over...drunk/ McGeyver like at the drum in front of drum judges; AND they never saw it ... Then he belted out a lead SO SHARP that surprised the Shyte out of us becuz he was still so fuq'd up... that **** was funny bcuz... well you can imagine............

Our drum was at a pow wow and it was an open session that night, we decided to sing that Black Lodge Kid's Crow Hop ... Ask Your Mom for 50 cents... everything went well with the tune and it put a smile on our faces and everyone enjoyed it, we wrapped up the song and my wife who sings backup leans over to the mic and in a high pitched voice says... "Mom... can I have 50 cents?" We all just slowly turned with our jaws open and busted up laughing. One truly classic moment for my wife.

Another time we were kicking out a speedball for men's fancy and and I thought things were going fine, but the back-ups started busting up. Apparently as the song kept speeding up I kept getting closer and closer to the edge of my chair to the point I almost fell out of it at the end of the tune... For months afterwards they kept joking we were going to have install a seatbelt in my pow wow chair for that song!

Have seen a lot of funny stuff over the years, I seen the head of a stick fly off too many times, sometimes it just flies, one time I saw a singer on the other side of the drum get the head right between the eyes... LOL

dang whome, I think every head singer has had that happen...lol

well this is kinda funny.. i seen this one guy pick his drum and put it in the van and it fell out and rolled down the hill bout 50 yards...shoulda seen this guy, big chief runnin wit his pants fallin down and see everyone else take off.

I seen knuckles busted on stands during honor beats, sticks breakin and pop back in ur face and the classic chair buckling underneath great masses....but THIS ONE tops em all.......

These boys were gettin ready for competition... they wus all tryin to look hoss too. all gd up.. then this women come over there gonna record them...and some how they lost all there control... the lead singer fell back out of his chair, turnt red got up and started the song. dam ur boyz, 1 of em broke his stick, and I guess it hurt him cuz he let go of the stick.. and it bounced and racked the guy next to him and popped him n the face...which messed up the guy on the other side cuz sticks was goin everywhere...so their sticks kinda went like dominos and everyone messed up and by the 2nd push up came around they was all laughin and they quit singing...cuz the judges couldnt see they wus laughin so hard...after that powwow I think they gave it up..lol they sounded alright too.

...One time at a powwow(won't say which),they had an Aztec family doing a presentation...well when their drummer began his beat, the lead dancer began to jog out of the arbor when all of a sudden!!....someone's little dog ran up and bit him on the leg!he began to hop around crazy and the other dancers, who were right behind him, crashed into him and hit the ground like dominoes....one of the guys landed right on our drum!,while we were still sitting at it!!2 of our guys got knocked to the ground, and this poor guy laying on our drum looked up to see the rest of us laughing our@#$es off!!....I looked down at him and said in my best Spanish"oye buey, quitate del tambor!!"(hey fool, get off our drum!!).Needless to say,it took a while for everyone to gain their composure and resume normal powwow activities....p.s. the dog wasn't harmed in the making of this catastrophe....keep smilin'1

YoBoi 2 Steppin' is an unknown quantity at this point
I seen this little fat kid with a fancy dance outfit on come flyin' out of the arena one time to get to his drum, thay was next up in rotation and he was the first lead. Well, the drums was set up on a stage and he ran over a couple of folks to get there. Once he was there, he leaned over the drum to pick up on the song thay was 'bout to sing. Thay started drummin' and he went to sit...well, when he leaned back in his seat, he flipped his chubby a$$ right off the stage, and the drum had to stop so thay could make sure he was ok. He was beet red, but ok. That ALMOST shut the P-DUB down....

Same weekend, same drum, just later that day. These boys was called on to sing a rabbit dance. there was only three to sing at the drum, thay started up, and the two guys on the outside started flippin' or spinnin' thay sticks (like some folks used to do on them down beats). Well, ol' boy in the middle of the two just stopped drummin', took his glasses off, wiped his eyes and said, "Good god, can yall stop doin' that? Yall's makin' me dizzy." Microphone all in his face, drum stops, dancers stop, P-DUB, shuts down......

Other than these guys, yall should have been at the National P-DUB in D.C. last year to witness the kick a$$ flag song that the HOST southern group sang(or attempted to sing) for us all. Nothing but pure wickedness.....
