Yeah, I remember TWO SPOTS at that powwow....But, I think it was much needed rain though. The powwow was okay, but the sound system was AWESOME!!! HEY, Techno, we got our ride back.

New dates??
The Ceremonial has always been held on the first weekend of August for as long as I can remember. Why the change in dates?
Last year was fun. The rain was enjoyable even though the powwow had to be called off. We left a little early on Sunday and headed home via Hwy 264 and then down to Phoenix area. Just had to stop for some nu-quaw-vi @ the 2nd Mesa cultural center. Yum, yum. Then it was a nice evening drive home through Payson to Valle del Sol. Hope this year's rescheduled dates doesn't conflict with other powwow dates. |
