This year's Powwow will be May 12-14, 2006.

The Powwow Flyer

New Powwow flyer will be available by end of December 15, 2006.

Head Staff 2006

To be announced January 2006. Stay tuned.

Vendors: Our vendor application deadline is January 31, 2006. Please send your packets by that date. If you would like an application, email your contact information to us at stanford.powwow.2006@gmail.com

The Stanford Powwow is held every Mother's Day weekend in May.

The Stanford Powwow is sponsored by the Stanford American Indian Organization.

This is fast becoming one of the best gigs for me ... good people and good drums! They have separate Northern and Southern singing contests as well as many committee specials for dancers.

They treated us great last year (Northern Host Drum) Took us out to dinner two times, hooked us up with nice accomadations. Just all around treated us good. The Powwow was real good too. Good Dancing, Singing, and Announcing. Stanford NDN students put on a good Powwow....

Mystic River put on a heck of a performance last year ... even made it rain out the Sunday session! I know someone from Mystic River took care of my bro Matt when his ride broke down.

Still no word on the Head Staff yet, but this shindig is during the Mother's Day weekend just 30 minutes southeast of San Francisco!

The last three years, the committee held separate singing contests ... Northern and Southern paying to three places each.

Cool!!... we will be traveling alot this powwow season... hitting UCI, Irvine, Stanford, NAIG, North Fork Mono Indian Days, and Reno, Nevada
The kids are looking forward to these pw's.
but for now basketball season is still in full swing...!

Ask Juncinda or one of the guys that doesn't have regalia to see if one would be interested in helping me out with the roaming mics at Stanford (a way to earn some travel money).
