I see way to much of this!
All in all the powwow was a bit small some good dancing and singing.
I only had one problem with the powwow: The head judge let family members compete in the contest. I don't care how fair people say they are, you know who will pick family members and who won't. Head judge throws a special so none of the attention will be on his family dancing in contest, I see this a lot. I think head judges should show honour when being honoured, and ask the family not to compete. The head judge is a special man with a lot of powwow experience, I just hope next year if he is head judge that he will do the right thing and show powwow people the honour he has carried for many of years. |

Ok......... here's the scoop.
I talked to Sterling again today..... he was at work and gave me Jo Ann Manley's number.... she was the one with all the names and all. Well talked to her...... she said that she can't give the info on the winners out until she has approval from Joseph Podlasek. Well he hasn't gotten back with me since I contacted him on Monday. Soooooooooooooooo............ she says there is no other one I can contact because she is the one with the info but needs "committee approval" before the information can be given out. ( she was very nice about it and her hands are tied ) She did say that they should have the information ready on Monday. So.........there it is in a nutshell. (I even tried the bit that some names are being posted anyway and they are getting some wrong...... nada )
