On the sad side of all of this is that another Navajo Soldier's life was taken in Iraq. Sgt. Clifton Yazzie from Hogback, NM, was killed by a road-side bomb on Friday. |

Flanagan, 22, of Inverness, Fla., were all assigned to the 1st Battalion, 327th Infantry Regiment, 1st Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division, Fort Campbell, Ky. Spc. Matthew C. Frantz, 23, of Lafayette, Ind., was assigned to the 1st Special Troops Battalion, 1st Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division, Fort Campbell. Parker School rendered a Memorial song after Saturday evening's Grand Entry at the Gilbert Powwow in memory of Sgt. Yazzie. Please include the families and relatives of the soldiers who lost their lives in your thoughts and prayers. Last edited by Ta'neeszahnii Techno; 01-24-2006 at 03:59 PM. |
