What dances is that? I'd have to ask my in-law about that, he's from ober der. Hey Grizzly, heard them weddings that way are huge? We'll be preparing for one soon. No wonder we got snow Grizzly, gee thanks!

Winter social dances are going on at different villages. But I'm going home for the one that my cuz and clan family is putting on, which is the Bear Dance. Its awesome come out and check it out. Yep, them weddings can go on for days and yes they are huge.
Finally got some NUVA(snow) up there huh? Kwak-Kwai!! (ty) Its about time, we need it!

HEY ALL YOU SKINDIANS!!!! GILBERT POW-WOW WAS A PRETTY GOOD TURN-OUT FOR A 1ST ANNUAL. WEATHER WAS GREAT DURING BOTH DAYS, SATURDAY AND SUNDAY. IT WAS COLD FRIDAY NITE. SATURDAY NITE WASN'T THAT BAD AS FRIDAY NITE. GOOD DANCING AND SINGING ALL THE WAY AROUND THE CIRCLE. BOTH HOST DRUMS DID A VERY GOOD JOB ALL WEEKEND LONG. TOTAL OF 9 DRUMS THAT WERE THERE FOR THE WEEKEND. DARK HORSE(S.H.), PARKER SCHOOL(N.H.), ROCKY PARK, STANDING BEAR, NEW CIRCLE, EAGLE WHISTLE JR'S., COYOTE CROSSING, BLU THUNDER, AND SACRED HORSE.

DRUM CONTEST RESULTS:
1.) EAGLE WHISTLE JR'S.
2.) BLU THUNDER
3.) ROCKY PARK
4.) SACRED HORSE

Grizzly missed out on a whole lot of fun this weekend! And he didn't get to celebrate with the Blu Thunder boyz!

Contrats to the singing contest winners and those that put forth their best effort (Standing Bear, New Circle, and Coyote Crossing). All the drums were sounding good.

WOW ! glad I didn't go friday night cause it was pretty cold for me on saturday night. I say it was a fairly well run event, 1 or 2 spots were kinda flat.I was hoping it was an indoor event being at the civic center and all. I had a celebrity sighting ( robert tree cody) man he must stand 7 ft tall.
