Anyone have any info for the Hawkeye Native American Clutural Center dance in Raeford, NC this weekend? When are dance times? Who's singin? MC? That kinda stuff...

if u take hwy 211 out of Red Springs towards Raeford, the first caution light you come to once you are in Hoke County, make a right at that caution light...there will be a big church on your right, and there should be signs there once you make that right....now you can also go this way.....

again take 211 out of Red Springs towards raeford, once you cross over into Hoke county there will be a road that breaks off to the right, and they may have signs to take you that way...either or its not hard to find...

I am not sure what time the G.E.'s are, I do know however that they were able to raise money and are having competition for dance and drum....hmmm I do believe that the area young drum group is to be host Young Buckz. I am assume grand entry for friday will be 6 or 7, and saturday is one day of competition..they are trying to blow up. I know there will be other singers there from my drum group, the ones that dont go to Richmond this weekend. hope this helps...

This was a real good pow wow. I, myself, enjoyed it. Just wish there were more dancers and drums. However, we all did well with what we had and that is all anyone can ask of us. There was a nice hometown feel to it, so we all felt welcome.

At the end of the dance on Saturday night (last night) we were all taken care of; we got what we went there for and then some. I think we'll definitely be there again next year.
