I want to let members of the lumbee tride know they are not who they think they really are. they're not lumbee or any other tribe they have been told for years. the tribal councl knows the truth on were there ancestors migrated from and there true id. if the people would search there geneology they would find they have tuscarora blood. the government has changed the name of the people and has confused our grand parents and great grandparents so much that they didnt know what to call there selves so they were unable to pass down any tribal history of who they were to there children. the government was/is trying to destroy the tuscarora history of nc. the tribal councl and lrda has done there research but they are not letting the information they have get out but some people have managed to get there info they have done and share it to help the people here find out the real story and not continue living the lies from the lumbee

i read somewhere that the lumbees supposedly tried to claim to be siouan to gain federal status but the last 20 siouan decendants weren't havin that...

now i don't know if thats true or not..but if it is...it seems kinna off that now all of a sudden some "lumbees" are now sayin their "tuscarora...."
