LOL... anyways i love the northern style and the southern style is pretty cool. im for people who keep it real with there from. like some southern people with no northern blood at all dancing northern style is wrong. i belive that they are just ashamed of there own traditions so people who keep it real are the coolest....

Both styles are real good. Dancing northern to a southern
song or dancing southern to a northern song, either way
you can pretty much tear it up any style as long as you
feel comfortable with what your dancing. Peace

i like southern b'cuz~
i sing southern
and the some of the girlz up here in michigan can't dance to southern and it's really funny
i like northen b'cuz~
most of tha time i ca really jam to it durin intertribals...

Southern Stylez is the way for me. I only grew up knowing my Southern style. Singing,dancing,Powwows,and I am glad for that. I never been to a northern powwow .....does northwest count cause I did dance @ Pi ume sha in Warm Springs,Oregon. I think northern powwows should at least have one Southern drum...w/reel Singers from the southern plains though. I love northern drums but the high voices do get old and the powerful sounds of the men and women of the South really get rocking too.

I'm not voting either because they BOTH rock! I'm a Northern Tradish and I love rockin out to a Norther Women's Round Dance song. However, I am TOTALLY jealous of those beautiful Southern Buckskin dancers. Ever so graceful and beautiful when they dance...sometimes I wish I was Southern so I could dance Southern! It's just so lovely! But we Northerners know how to rock it too! So props to BOTH!!!
