Well, I had the opportunity to see the southern style mens fancy at the F.S.I.N. (federation of saskatchewan indian nation) powwow here in saskatchewan this past month in october and it was spectacular, so much style... i loved it, but all in all diversity is beautiful and its always sweet to have freshness but .........it wouldn't be sweet if we didn't have what we have in order to have something new we have to something now so I appreciate both styles because without one the other isn't.

I love powwows period. I love Southern singing and dancing because I'm Southern. Southern singers have soul to me, they sing like gents. Northern singers rock hot dayum! Ever find yourself just bobbing your head to Black Lodge or Eyabay late at night at a powwow? Nothern Dancers can make any step beautiful. If I believed in reincarnation I'd come back a Jingle Dress dancer.
