Okay so Yahsti received his check this past week!!! Since the last thread I've thought about this pw and the rules, etc. This 'debate' with the committee, especially the Chief, wasn't so much about the $$ but how wrong it was for them to think that they were right in what they did. From a VERY RELIABLE source, I was told that the Chief told my source that I was a bully to him. A bully!?!?!? A bully?!?!!? Am I in grade school again? lol Don't get me wrong I'm sure I wasn't all smiles with 'yes sir' and 'yes you're right' but I stick up for what I believe in, ESPECIALLY when I know I'm right and ppl back me up on it because it's the truth. I will agree that I will get loud from time to time (w/the head whippin' and the finger pointin' lol) and ppl may perceive that as being a b*tch. I KNOW I could be, I don't deny it at all. It's just a little hard for me to understand how other ppl don't see what I see.

I will stand up for what I believe in and if ppl don't like it BRING IT *snap*snap*!!!!!! LMAO Do ya feel me?

P.S. - the check came in the mail in a folded BLANK piece of paper....no apology, no reason why the difference was mailed....nothing, just a check. I guess you can't get everything LOL

P.P.S - Thanks LQ and ALL that backed me up on this whole excruiating ordeal.

I better go deposit this before it bounces!!!!LOL now I'm just havin' fun. It's all really funny now because it could have been ALL prevented.

I am glad that that the money came. I emailed them to make sure that they did it but I never heard back from them so I was worried. I can't explain the actions of the chief or anyone else for that matter. But, I would like to extend an apology to both Yahsti and you on behalf of the Meherrin tribe. Take care and I hope to see you some time next year.
