The Fair is on.
Powwow starts tomorrow sometime after Gourding.
Rodeo should be tough. The Yei's have dramatically changed the weather already. The midway is thriving and the glonnie's are bumbing for change, aye. But yeah the powwow should be a doozy, there's a simple flyer out, I called for info a few times w/ zero response, so it should be fun, gonna wear my dust gear this year tho, ha. Congrat's to all the pageant winners!!

The Art Market, concerts, feeds & exhibits should be the best ever, so y'all come out and enjoy shiprock and all them Rockers Rocking The Rock. HOLY SMOKES!! Chaaah!

location? Is it on the fairgrounds? does parking suck?
is the parade a mess like in window rock and traffic gets backed up?

I just wanted to add that the M.C., Ervin Keeswood, did a great job. He was positive and funny. Expecially when that one "guest" went out and was "Fancy Dancing" during an intertribal..... ROFL

And I forgot my leggings fell off, twice. On the first and second song on Fri night. I did the honorable thing and finished my dance and walk off, no line-up for judging.
One thing that bothered me is that some dancers just came and danced for the competition only. Hmf, dancing just for the money are they?

It was dusty yeah, *whew* I didn't eeeeven know they had a Men's Grass special, well I missed Saturday anywho but I did catch the winners listing Saturday and I thought I heard that George Bearskin won the Regular men's grass comp, and two other guys got 2nd and 3rd (spaced the names). The powwow was evidentally cut short due to some old drunk gettin multiple stab wounds and dying @ the fair, someone was mad.

There was no hosts, no heads but yeah the MC was great.

If I hit the lottery jackpot I'll donate a powwow center, at least some green grass ha *chokes*
