Just some information for you guys worried about how Nashoba or any other drum judge will pick their judges. They are given a geographical map with different regions. From there, they are supposed to pick judges. This prevents having too many judges from one area. I don't know how fair it is but it's a good idea. That's what I saw last year anyways. Things might change this year or not. I don't know how it will run this year.

All I can say to the other singers is to just sing!! Don't worry about who's head drum judge and whatnot. If you're that worried, then don't go. That's the easiest way to solve the problem. If you really want to sing then you'll go and let your singing speak for itself. Crying over the internet about who the head drum judge is surely won't get you extra points.

The admission on Friday is usually 10 bucks, saturday it goes to like $12, and then if u want the 2-day pass, it is 18 dollars unless they have gone up?

i think no matter who is the head judges or judges at any powwow...ppl are still going to complain! Especially at a big powwow like GON. After all...it is mostly about who ya know...whether people wanna think that or not. I wish that people could could judge on the best dancer or drum and not on whether they like that person or not.
