Lumbee Fall Pow-wow
What are the dates for the Lumbee Fall Pow-wow? Haven't heard too much about it yet! The Spring one was off the hook....and July 4th on the UNCP Campus was also packed - but hot as all get up...

This should be a good one - where is it going to be - I heard that it may be back behind LRDA again for the fall, but that has not been confirmed....
Anybody got any news....

the dates for the powwow are Oct. 28-30th.. and the powwow is going to be behind LRDA Building, HOWEVER.. this powwow is being sponsored and put on by LRDA (Lumbee Regional Development Association), and not the Tribe in itself...so therefore please keep in mind that this will NOT be as big as the spring event as far as prize money, however this is a good dance, to go along with all the other powwows going on weekends before and after... Sorry I will not be able to make it, and it literarly in my back yard..., my best friend is getting married, and his last weekend of freedom(bachelor's party) is that weekend..(ha ha millicent) but i would love to see this powwow as good as the spring, just didnt want no one coming with the same expectations for this one, as comparison to the Spring at the culture center. Hope everyone can make it out though.....
