I have gone to the NORTHERNWIND website and they have a story on the jingle dress and its history I believe to be pretty acurate with all the stories I have heard on it. Go check it out!

The jingle dress originated in WFB Ontario...The elders there can tell you the original story too..In ojibway..but really its non of my business..I preferr to dance Grass ...hee hee

It seems like there is alot of who's right and who's wrong. All I believe is that it came from the ojibwe. Us Ojibwe should all be proud of that,proud that so many other nations have adopted our way of life.as well,we have adopted many of other nations traditions. I always hear. that the fast beat from mille lacs is the old style. But, at the same time the slower beat from WFB, is the old style. So many people are quick to claim what's already theirs. I mean as a people anyway............Stop all the hate.and sah sah quay !!!!!!!!!!!!!! WHHEEEEEEEEE CHAAAAAAAAAA
