Everyone JAMMED OUT this weekend, tough comp in every category!
Everyone I talked to really appreciated the original style exhibitions and explanations and the gourd dance explanations. I also liked how before each grand entries one of the MCs would explain the tradition/role of camp criers and how they were introduced to this position. Does anyone know if this was a "one time" pow-wow or if they plan on having one again next year?

I believe WhoMe said that this was not an annual event and that in all likelihood there would not be a dance next year.

The original exhibitions with the spotlights were really cool. I think the idea to do the original/comtemporary comparisons came from WhoMe. Brilliant idea. The explanations about the camp criers were really cool too. The MCs did a nice job. Goodstriker was hilarious. I hope more committees get him out this way for some dances.
