Guide me with making a dress?
Tansi all,
just found this site, looks like a great place...I am going to be drumming with my women's drum circle at an upcoming local powwow, and my wardrobe is really pathetic... I have no regalia to speak of. I want to look nice on the day. I'm Metis (Cree) and I'm trying to find pictures of or patterns for dresses so I can make my own...I'm not much of a seamstress but I did make a buckskin shirt once (without pattern) that turned out quite well. I have almost 2 months to make something. Does anyone know of any Metis or Cree dress designs they can suggest? I would much appreciate it...miigwetch |
