Know that you are loved.
My condolences to the families affected by this tragic event. There are many of you who are in mourning now, and I pray that you have the strength and faith to continue on your daily activities. You will continue to be in my prayers long after this has passed. As evidenced by the out pouring of support, Know that you are loved. Pray for Daryl and his recovery.

Daryl Jack and his family...
This message was sent to me by a friend thru his sister, Betty. Daryl is in a coma, and the rest of the family is in critical condition. Yes, they did loose their daughter. All of their children were under six years of age. My prayers go out to you and your family Daryl.
Miracles are worked through prayers, so lets keep praying without stopping! Whispering Eagle |

For the Jack/Abrahamson family
I was so sad to hear the bad news about Willow and Daryl Jack's accident. The loss of their daughter is heartbreaking. I always admired them for their dancing and positive attitude at school and powwows. I hope that they make a full recovery and somehow rebuild their lives.

Prayers for the Jacke Family
This message goes out to all pow wow people all over Indian Country.
I travel alot too with my three sons, and I was very disturbed when I read the news yesterday on the accident involving the Jacke Family, I said my prayers last night and I prayed that the Creator be at their side so that they will fully recover from both their great loss of their baby, and the injuries that they sustained. I also prayed to the Creator for all the fellow Pow wow people travelling long distances on a late Sunday night - and I asked the Creator to guide everyone home on a safe trip- and I also wish that the pow wow people travelling these long miles after dancing all day, that they would just get a room, and not rush home. Times like this is hard on pow wow people everywhere all over Indian Country as we are all related in one way or the other, we are a First Nation and we are all a family - we may not know each other the Jacke Family and myself, but I prayed for them last night, because I too felt the sadness - I pray when I get on the road to and from a pow wow - and I thanked the Creator for the health and safety of my three children, Please pow wow people - don't rush home Sunday Night - take that time to get a room and catch up on your rest - because in one quick second that could change your life forever and those around you -- Once again my prayers go out to the Jacke Family - May God Bless you, and be by your side and guide you through this difficult time. |

Our prayers and thoughts are also with the Jack family and all their relation. Know that your family is being prayed for and first and foremost in the minds and hearts of those that have been fortunate enough to have crossed your paths and been uplifted and inspired by your kindness and grace. May God's grace be upon you all.

Willow and Darryl, I went to the river last night and prayed for you, your children and the whole family. A star was twinkling especially bright and I'm sure it was Purdy looking down on all of us. Blessings from Browning and St. Marys.

I heard this tragic news this morning and all I had was aching in my heart for you Willow. From my family, we will pray and have you in our thoughts. We wish you and your family a speedy recovery. We lost our dear little Calum last month, believe me, it's hard to see a darling child taken from you, but we know he's in heaven. I hope you know the whole powwow community is mourning with you and are praying for you. Love from Arizona, **jdazmum** Listen to the Whispers of the Mourning by Michele Reach up to the heavens with arms open wide Take hold of its beauty, breathe it inside Take in its majesty, memorize its grand views Engulf its bright lights and magnificent hues Look above the aged trees that touch the sky And listen to the whispers of the mourning cry Listen through the whirring breezes and you can hear the names Sobbing with great heartache, crying out with such pains Names of all loved ones with silent prayers unsaid Echoing with profoundness inside my head And now the sun burns in my ears your sweet voice Saying don't thirst for what once was, this is the Lord's choice Now I know there's beauty below, but up here there's no compare There's no pain, no heartache, there's no despair You can lay your head upon the angel's knee And know no pain, just filled with such glee I know you miss me, I miss you too But I'm sending an angel to watch over you The angel will let you know I'm always near To ease your heartache and wipe your tears And the next |
