It was a good pow-wow, I watched a few of the contests and when the winners were announced i was shocked, it made me wonder who was chosen to be a contest judge. I saw some womens fancy shawler from L.A tear it up in contest, yet Crystal Cleveland took 1st. Anhinga Whitecloud danced circles around Ny Cleveland yet Ny took 1st. I know alot of pow-wows are unfair. Especially when some of the judges are clueless. Despite the unfairness, i enjoyed the pow-wow. Dont get me wrong, Nyomi and Crystal are very good dancers
Jr Boys Fancy:
5th Delano Cleveland
4th Quinton Cleveland
3rd ?
2nd Terrence Cleveland
1st Courage Cleveland

TEENS BOYS FANCY:
1st Ricky Cleveland JR

I went to this pow wow and it was a pretty good pow wow. It was very hot so they didn't keep us dancing too long. It was over every night by 10:30 or 11:00 at the latest. Jerry Cleveland, Jr. was the head men's judge and some lady from there was the head women's judge. So, they had separate judges for the men and women. Jerry picked alot of visitors to judge, so he was trying to be fair to everyone. The drum contest was awesome. Midnight set up as IronBoy, more or less.lol
I will post what I can remember:
Southern women:
1st Delaine Alley
2nd Keri J. Meyers
3rd Charlene Cozad
4th Janet Bullcoming
5th Sandy Tate

Southern Men
1st Ronnie Goodeagle, sr.
2nd Denny Medicine Bird
3rd Dennis Alley, jr.
4th Angelo Normand
5th???

Men's Traditional 35-54
1st Terry Fiddler
can't remember the rest

Mens Fancy 35-54
1st Dwight WhiteBuffalo

Men's Golden Age
1st Boye Ladd
2nd Lewis Cozad

Women's Golden Age
1st Myrtle Long
2nd Vera Kingbird
3rd Mable Cozad

Women's fancy 35 and over
1st Muriel Stewart
2nd Lisa Ewalk

Women's Jingle 35 and over
1st Anna Pushetonequa

Men's Fancy 18-34
1st Tonch St. John
2nd Wayne Silas
3rd Daryl Jack
4th Rylan Baker

Women's Fancy 18-34
1st Crystal Cleveland
2nd Rose Track
3rd Nahmi Lasley
4th Tawney Hale

Women's Traditional 35 and over
1st Dawn Decorah

Women's Traditional 18-34
1st Tosha Goodwill
2nd I think maybe Summer Baldwin????

Women's Jingle 18-34
1st Casey Hinsley
2nd Willow Jack
3rd Winona Kingbird

They also had specials in every category but I can't remember all the special winners. They had specials on Sunday and we were done by 5:00. The committee also had rooms reserved for pow wow visitors at the tribal rate, which was really nice. There were alot of good dancers in all the categories and it was easy dancing, not marathon dancing. lol
Sorry I can't remember all the winners, been to 3 pow wows in one week and they are all kind of blurring together. lol
