my homies fom texas won big!!
Joanne Butler took 1st in teen jingle
Julianne Butler took 1st in jr jingle (took some tries but got it)
Kathy Butler took 1st in womens cloth
John Butler took 1st in golden age men!!!

also congratz to tyler won both teens fancy and special teen fancy...andrew vasquez....amanda bigmountain...robecca and micheal roberts....tata roberts and her partner in that two-step contest and to everyone else who won at this pw...couldn't be there but i sounded good...but what was up with people dropping their feathers...

cmon we can't forget about the other 3 drums. Black Bear they rocked out, they sang some goooood songs. Southern Eagle was pretty good, they had some good ones, but Bostic just needs to add some more guys. No doubt those little dudes on the drum were freakin jammin. AND ofcourse the Souther host, man they sang some GOOOOOOD old songs. They were great, I love not having to travel 1000 miles to hear them songs. Great singing all together. We had a great time, singing AND dancing. Hope to see everyone down the road.

yea the host was great it felt good to hear some of the song that have not herd for a while...but the all the drums were good...i am impressed with the young guys on southern eagle..they were rippin it all weekend so....good job to them...

way to go, glad everyone did real good and had a great weekend. My dad and my cousin did good singing this weekend along with all the other help they had from Ray and a couple of other singers.Wish I could have been their, but congrats to all the winners.

On Behlaf of my son we'd like to thank all the fancy dancers that danced in his dad's memorial dance saturday night - it was some great dancing
thanks to Micahel Roberts who won the mens
and sorry but cannot remember the boy that won the under 16( I think he was from Livingston Texas)
next year we'll be back up to the 1,000 winner take all competition

once again thank you to all the Fancy Dancers!

This pow-wow was fun! I had a good time hanging out with all of my Michigan homies!! Thank you for coming and hanging out with me! It was good to chill with my sisters and my friends!

Congrats to all of the winners! The contest results were fair for the most part. An extra special congrats to the winners is my category: Women's Northern Traditional! It was a pleasure dancing with all of you, as always!

Also, my condolences to the Tramper family on their loss. My family and I will be keeping them in our prayers.

Overall not a bad weekend! It was good to hang out with all of the old East Coast homies and meet new ones!

The Trampers are an amazing family... very kind hearted, generous, loving, and genuine people... I'm sorry to hear of their losses...

it was a very sad feeling, when everyone heard the news, our prayers go out to the Tramper family. the Pw went real goooot. thannkx it didnt rain the whole w/e, only some on sunday. it was pretty hot tho. congrates to all the winners, singers and dancers. a extra congrates out to my hubby and son for 1st place dancing, and 3rd in drum. the switch dance was hilarious. safe travels
