Browning Pow-Wow?

Can someone tell me how Browning pow-wow usually is? Never been there before, but planning on heading out there this year. LONG way from home.

I haven't been to this one in years. I think they have a new arena now. @ the last arena, they had fake grass carpet over the grass. There were a couple of prarie dog holes under parts of it. I saw some lady fall during her contest. It was not pretty. Other then that, it was nice. I tripped out on the rez dogs in browning. They really know how to cross the street. They have a couple of nice bead stores there. They have hot dogs @ the iga that are in those wraps(real old school style). They are most excellent. I used to buy the good fireworks there too...stuff(roman candles w/ m80s in them) they are not supposed to sell you. My grandma lives near toilet paper hill.

I was there last year and going again this year, its an ok pow wow. Theres a carnival there with games and rides, alot of markets there, alot of dancers, alot of drums. big campground surrounded by fences. theres a new arena now with roofing in case of raining. More sturdy against winds now. I dont know what else to say about it. Its fun though. Bigger than Arlee this year. Im going to arlee today, like the past 3 days.

ah porcupine, i remember them, they were pretty good actually, good high singers. They were sitting by the MC, oh and did you know that the salish dont allow eagle whistles blown for the drum? someone blown a whistle for one of the drum groups, im not sure which one, but the MC announced that he wouldnt allow it, but he said it real politely and appologized for it. i thought it was bizarre, but its all gravy...
