I'm almost positive that I'm going to make this one. This will make it my first trip to pechanga. I heard the feed there is excellent. If the pw arena is okay, I might do some videotaping. There's also a show I want to see on friday in downtown la. I can't wait.

Hey Grizz, if you guys are goin to this here powwow, watch out for that guy Randy Pico. He thinks he knows it all and will try to pressure you because he is of that tribe...just floor him and get on with that kick *** singing!!!! LOL!!!

We were thinking of going but most likely just kick back at home and watch the cheap fireworks on the rez coming off second mesa....JK!!! LOL!!! Anyway, to all, have a safe and happy fourth of july.....wish I could enjoy this holiday but it freaks me out.......anywho.........

Yeah, it pretty much is...........It's just that this dude is kind of whacked out or something.....there were threads in the past about this dudes behavior towards drums not from the area.........I experienced it first hand when my buddy almost knocked the shyt out of him for telling us how to sing a song and how to hit the drum...........but oter than that, the powwow is fun, especially the fireworks show and the feed they have on saturday.......you're bound to have fun........

You'd think they'd give a pretty descent vendor fee for 100% Indigenous owned (California at that) but then look who we're dealing with, Nevada 'owned' California casinos.
Just my airline ticket alone would have busted me.

My plans for pechanga just got squashed. That sucks. I sooo wanted to see ozomatli on friday too. At least now I can watch live 8 now.

Da fireworkz were off da hoooook! I heard they spent like something $30 grand 4 da hookup it was koolerz major. The dancing was koolerz 2. It was still like 95 degrees but it was still fun we had a blast!

Good pow-wow!! The committee did an excellent job accommodating the dancers and drums. Ice & water were provided in huge plastic tubs all weekend long, there was the awesome dinner on Saturday night. The weather was a little on the hot side during the day, then the infamous winds of Temecula valley blew threw to cool us off in the late afternoon. No big dramas that I saw. Had a blast!! Good singing, good dancing. Okay, there were a couple of drums that were definately new and not very good, but the hosts drums did a good job! I have no idea who won every category, but for those that placed, congrats!
