Well, all n all...i had fun dis wknd. despite the heat--it was ok...got to spend time wit my family and frenz. Woohooo, my daughter got in too....

I was like, where's Techno!!! I was actually running around looking for you? kidding! But the sound system needed work. All in all, we had a blast. We came prepared too, I made sure I took the canopy and plenty of water. Rocky Park blasted the side step, it was awesome! I got to say though, I haven't heard any rez drums this way drum like they did on that song. Blue Thunder blasted too, gave them a little green too. They would sound awesome with some loud back up, if they had some. I saw Dazzle's son win that bike, he's so precious.

I would like to say it was a fun powwow. But next year, I'm coming early and setting up a revival tent! Serious too! Getting a good spot. LMAO!!

You can understand why Enos and the boyz didn't return.

Where is Black Thunder from?

Ghost Horse was jamming at UA Wildcat and Standing Soldier at ASU (didn't have a chance to hear them Saturday evening).

The boyz from Red Horse were sounding good Saturday evening (good sound system).

Certainly, Rocky Park, Blue Thunder, Thunder House and The Wanderers were in their prime peak all weekend.

I'll see you fellas down the road (Native American Recognition Days, Red Mountain Eagle, Orme Dam Victory Days).

Someone needs to keep the Mesa Powwow alive.

I know what you mean Echo. But, I just couldn't commit if I can't get through to the committee. Sure wish I had the opportunity to help out all of my bros from RP, BT, TH, SB, RH and SS.

Yeah those boyz from Blu Thunder need to get moving and get some backup singers! Maybe, you should marry a few of them off to some loud moufs, eh? (imagine Grizzly with some groupies hanging 'round him forever combing back his slick hair!)

I didn't know that it was Dazzle's sonny who won the bike! I guess he will win an American Iron Horse someday.

How about Grizzley showing up one day with cornrows!!! LOL!!! That way Burbs and he can look for snoop!!! Speaking of which I seen mr. d-o-double-g himself....LOL!! I was like "I know Burbs has got to be here now???" LOL!!!

Thunderhouse, Red Horse, Blu Thunder were crankin some wicked tunes....but I was mainly pulling for Blu Thunder only cuz they jammed some mean Hopi tunes the majority of the time....YB style sounded good as well, but we all know they would definately have sounded better if they had at least 3 or more their dudes with them...

Techno, we did the best we could using our system, I sure am damn glad we brought it...*L*....all that support but nothing came of it...LOL!! anyway..........

Hey grizz, where does Black Thunder originate from??? Don't tell me some kids you left behind in some of the other villages either....LOL!! jk.......They had some good sounds....Also Sun Bear, I think thats their name, was there as well.....pretty much the whole Hopi tribe showed up, aye! I ran into Snoop at Snow Mountain and then at the Gathering of the Pais. His family are into bird dancing and he's a nice fella.

Those Hopi boyz can sure carry Hopi tunes. Sun Bear really stretch them out while Blu Thunder lay out some nice tunes. Bear Shield was at Pinon so they didn't show up.
