Lawernceville Ga. Powwow

Went to Lawernceville this past weekend.

The drums were great, nice dancing,but what's the deal about the time. No Sunday night session?
What does anyone else think about this powwow?

Guess I'm use to Cherokee were we had both day and night session. Just seems to break the day. Your just getting started and then have to leave...LOL

Yeah, I could see that. I like a day and night session too. See, that's what you get for going to a pow wow off the rez :)

It sure not couse I wanted to.
You guys do need to pull it together there on the bountry.
I miss the Memorial day Powwows there. I even enjoy the boys and girls club one day powwows. You all are doing a great job with that. Just like being with my friends and family. True good feelings.

One note about one drum at Lewerenceville.

They are callled MGD. I could only try to tell you how good this drum was. Talk about feel good...wow. The drumming and singing on this drum was so good that some of the drummer stop drumming and started dancing in place at the drum.. tears started flowing. It was truly like something I have never experenced before. Thats what I go to powwows for. I'm still on a high from it. Thank you guys for letting me be part of that experience.

Was that the drum on the side of birdtown?
I dont know what drum. It was the only one I didnt know.

Waterbird was the southern drum in front of Birdtown. The drum to the left was A wo ha li. Yea what did you guys think of Waterbird??
