sheeesh YB is all over these days.....I saw them at the Lumbee PowWow....they gonna be at Hondah...and now at NN fair...it's all goood though.....

How was the fair last year? Was it windy and dusty?

no, it was nice. it got chilly at night but thats was about it. the central fair in chinle, eastern fair in crownpoint, and the western fair in tuba are known for the dust conditions. NNF has been good for a few years, two years ago on a saturday it rained... big deal.

I'm laughing, because it reminded me of my last duty station. I swear people are so racist in the military, but they go about in a funny way. We had a picnic one day and I'm sitting there with all my friends and music from the South, South meaning Dirty South (Burbz, you get me??) LMAO!! I'm laughing at my own story. Anyway, I"m sitting there watching a bunch of "African Americans" start dancing and jumping up and down. Days later, I point that out in front of my black friends, not being racist. I said, "why is it that all the blacks start jumping around like monkeys when they turn on rap music??" You should've seen the look on their faces. I got hit with a banana!! real hard too! For 3 years I heard that story repeated over and over again until I left. Just for that, I was teased with Indian jokes.

Anyway, that wasn't cool at all, but I get air-headed sometimes.

Maybe he'll be in UCLA, I'm sure fiddy will approach him for you? J/K.

What exactly are the specials now?
I'm down here in St. Michaels on training now and I drove by the Fair grounds sure "remembering back" ayyee. it's a decent powwow I'd say. Cept one year my bro won 1st and the Sponser for first place donated 800$ for that place, yet dude only got 500. So yeah they prob filled in on another category. Anyway Daryl is head man, so it should be fun. Is ignacio really the same time?

IHS eh. Yeah we hit up Cool Running's @ lunch. Got Windwalker the DVD, finally after so long. Got some new CD's, they're selection is still the best, Mandaree, White Lodge, Blackfoot Confederacy and all the best jams and old classics!! Got some Tshirts too, wicked!

The only Special so far is a Women's Fancy Shawl given by the out going princess, Eugenia Lynn Etsitty and Family. I don't know any details yet. The committee does not host specials.

Darryl Goodwill is the AD not head man. The Head Man and Head Lady are Gabe and Dianne Derosiers from Minnisota.

The last few years its been a little windy but not unbearable. Yup and rained a few years back. The arena has grass so the dust is a little better.

Yup, Ignatio is the same weekend.
